Beginning of Life - Exploring heart therapy

Exploring heart therapy

Category: News Created on 30 November -0001

Working with women, who suffered deep trauma being sexually abused and exploited, it seems sometimes that restoration in the lives of these girls is hardly possible. Their souls, emotions, attachments and bodies are violently shattered. And who is able to gather all these pieces back… we believe, only God can. But we are called to become His tools of love and restoration. That’s why our team is continually learning. This time our team got together for special seminar on HEART therapy with Dr. Benjamin Keyes

Dr. Benjamin (with the assisting professor Dr. Vanessa), having more than 20 years of therapeutic and counseling practice with traumatized children and women, have shared with us how to identify and manage different kinds of trauma and stress symptoms, how to deal with mental disorders and risk factors, and many others… The second part of the seminar was devoted to complex systematic therapy process, called Heart therapy, that help Christian counselors to find true and deep restoration for traumatized hearts. The truly pleasant realization was that much of this therapy’ methods our team already applying in the rehabilitation center House of Change. That was a very fruitful days of sharing experience and learning. We hope that God will use this for His glory.
